Young Nigerian footballer gruesomely murdered after being ‘lured out by friend’ in IMO (Graphic Photos)

Tributes are currently pouring in on social media for a promising young Nigerian man, Chidubem Ezeagu, who was reportedly lured by a friend and gruesomely murdered and buried in a shallow grave.

The lifeless and already decaying body of the Nigerian footballer from Umuelele, Irete, Owerri West LGA in Imo State was discovered on Friday 23rd of February 2018 by search party after he went missing last Sunday.

From what could be gathered by OTOWNLOADED, Chidubem got a call while he was about to eat and left immediately, that was reportedly the last he was seen, all efforts to reach him or know his whereabouts proved futile, a search party was created, comprising most of the community’s youths and after some days, his body was found not far away from the community, he had been gruesomely murdered and buried.

His friends and most Imo celebrities took to their various social media pages to mourn him.

‘Repackage to be as special as you used to be’ – Imo Bloggers president Hardy swipes on OAPs

Hardy Nwadike
Hardy Nwadike

Mr. Chinedu Hardy Nwadike the Founder of OtownGist Media & Entertainment has frowned at the common nature of OAPs in Imo State, adding that if they don’t repackage, there won’t be anything special about them again.

Hardy who is the President of Imo State Bloggers Association, said the profession has lost its flare as some people in it don’t even understand the weight they carry.

He said;

“I often hide my face when I hear some people I meet are OAPs. They might have the swagger on radio but when you meet them, you don’t just feel that aura of someone you listen to over the radio”

Hardy Nwadike
Hardy Nwadike

“The packaging is just too poor and some of them don’t even dress 30% of the way someone in showbiz should. They just appear as petty traders because they think people won’t recognize them”

“I have seen fans become disappointed because of this and it is doing more harm than good to young people joining the industry as well as the old timers who know the in and out of their onion”

Recalling when OAPs became the first celebrities in Imo State, Hardy said it would be nice to bring back those days when people on the radio and television were seen as they sounded.

He urged those dragging the image of the trade to the muds to repackage themselves so as to become the fans’ favourites again.

“You can’t board devil’s airways and expect to meet Jesus at the airport. These are the voices our people adore and I think they should always do their fans a little favour by always looking good to avoid that regular disappointment the fans feel every now and then.”

“Again, they should get involved in the show and not just the biz or just sit at home and the office. They should get in other media, throw their faces out there for people to read about them. If you want to play in the Champions League, you must take a flight”

Chinedu Hardy Nwadike who is also an author, recently released his third novel, ‘Just a Girl’s Story’, with accolades pouring in from different angles because of the boldness in the story which talks about self-inflicted pains on women.

Beauty Pageantry Contestant Reaches Finals Then Confesses She Is Actually A Man

Look at this ‘beautiful woman‘.

Would you believe that she is actually not a woman but the man below;

So here’s how the story goes.

Ilay Dyagilev, 22, fooled organizers of a beauty contest on Kazakhstan by pretending to be a woman. He gave himself the name Alina Alieva and dressed up as a hot woman.

He ended up beating over 4,000 applicants to reach the last stage of the competition. He explained;

My friends and I, we had a debate on beauty, and I decided to take part in the pageant. I’ve always been a champion of natural beauty. You can see that many young women look identical, the same make-up, the same style – and they believe that they are beautiful if they follow trends. I don’t think so.

After realizing he was about to win the competition of Miss Virtual Kazakhstan, he decided to tell the organizers that he was actually a man. He had fooled them all, including the online voters from all over the country.

I came through to the finale and decided to expose the identity of Arina Alieva when I realised it had gone too far. ‘At the very beginning there were around 4,000 applications from across Kazakhstan, but I got to the final.

The organizers were shocked by the revelation. They removed him from the finalists and replaced him with Aikerim Temirkhanova, 18.

How F6 Ifeanyichukwu changed the face of music with his recent release ‘Promo’

‘Promo’ by F6 Ifeanyichukwu

‘Promo’ by F6 Ifeanyichukwu, is a marvelously crafted and artistically balanced music, creatively produced by Fey Flexy. It is a cleverly addictive song. You can listen to it over and over again. Here’s my take on this gem:

First, the sounds and the vocals:

No sooner does the song begin than the assembled musical instruments – the versatile guitarlike pitch, the jarring percussion, less forward ones – impose a stamp of dominance on all things aural.

They are plainly more audible than the singing. Save for the percussion, the background music consistently delivers heavenly tunes. The percussion itself, assigned a contra role, abstractly mulls a stormy day.

Whenever I vibe to ‘Promo’ I hear a talented chap who is ready to do a better song.

I give it to the man Fey, for really coming alive on this wonderful beat!

From the first 3 tunes, to the commercial ‘Ifeanyichukwu’ to the beat kick, everything was simply perfect.

This is really different from what we’ve been seeing from the industry lately, more of personal testimonies and less of love, women and money.

Wanna know how F6 changed the face of music, take a listen to this perfectly crafted jam.

How to stop scaring, experiencing and starting to live in real

Description: This is about how to stop scaring and experiencing and starting to live in real.

How to stop scaring and experiencing and starting to live in real

All of us ask this question sooner or later in the hope that someone will help them cope with the feeling of fear, confusion, uncertainty and pulling oppression of their own complexes. Having carefully analyzed your situation, you will definitely come to one of the following:

–          There are problems but they are overcome;

–          No serious difficulties, you yourself are hard to answer why are you worried?;

–          You really have reasons to worry, you do not know how to cope with the negative and change the situation for the better.

How to stop scaring and experiencing?

To begin with, you need to understand a few simple things for yourselves: why are we going through? What makes us feel uncomfortable even while we are at home? When we are waking up in the morning, a person feels panic fear simply by doing nothing without even starting to do without the obvious preconditions.

Why am I nervous when nothing else has happened and probably will not happen? And I’m not talking here about the simple excitement that happens before some event or an important event for a person. The conversation will be about an unreasonable fear and anxiety, for which you hate yourself and nothing goes even writing a thesis for a research paper  but you cannot do anything yourself.

The most important cause of concern is the “unknown” that may happen to us today (tomorrow … in 20 years …). You are constantly scrolling through your head the options of events, actions and probabilities that may come to your notice in the future.

As a consequence, you worry about what has not happened or will not work at all. Moreover, many of the acquaintances do not invent a good result of again invented events; in the head, the only scandalous and insidious in this world is losing itself. Here, on the stage, feelings such as pity in themselves, the fear of becoming not the way you imagine yourself in the future.

It turns out, we ourselves invent a problem that does not exist, use writing help – that’s the disease of the current youth. “I live in a city, I have food, I have an opportunity to earn money, I have relatives and good friends, so why do I go to leisure? – To invent any garbage and through it to survive! (This may seem like a marasmus, but a lot of my friends and I myself do it very often)”. So, we deliberately drive ourselves into depression. Why?

What is the difference between the “complex of the excellent student” and “rivalry”?

We were brought up so that as we grew up, we forgot about ourselves and this “complex of the excellent student “slowly kills you and you are afraid to do paper writing yourself. This is not a natural spirit of rivalry: “I want to be better than the other, no!” It is a system of human behaviour, when it is squandering itself to perfectly perform its tasks, often at the cost of its own health.

Collect positive emotions and always keep in mind that you have a lot of good things in your life. You can take a piece of writing paper, colour pencils and write down all the positive things that surround you, your good sides, advantages. Think about how healthy you are, whether you have at least one friend, a close friend, a job, your favourite lessons, and more.

You will have enough to look at the completed sheet to make sure: there are plenty of reasons for positive emotions.

It is very important to treat reality objectively. Try to weigh all the disadvantages and pros. If something negative is insurmountable – accept it.

Get rid of fears, uncertainty, eliminate all negative and pay attention to any positive fact, even if at first it seems insignificant, create a positive with your own hands and bring joy to others – you will feel a surge of energy, good emotions too. Then the excitement will quietly leave you.

7 Lessons In Hygiene Some Women Need To Learn

Little lessons in hygiene.

It sometimes comes as a surprise when a woman passes by you and you cannot help but wonder when she last took a shower. The concoction of smells that emerge from some people is reason enough to spoil your day and even postpone your lunch.

It might not be common knowledge to everyone but hygiene is something you CANNOT live without.

I will tell you this; lack of hygiene exposes you to germs, bacteria, and illnesses. Most importantly, do not start wondering why family, loved ones, and even strangers never want to be near you when you cannot stay clean. There are things that you cannot take for granted when it comes to hygiene.

Here are 7 lessons in hygiene some women take for granted:

1. Wash your face.

Washing your face helps your skin glow and also prevents the formation of white heads and blackheads. You need to know if your face is sensitive to different types of soaps or not. Some people need to use clean warm water without soap and others need soap. It’s always best to use mild soap. Ensure to wash your face every morning.

2. Wash your hands after visiting the toilet.

It annoys me how some people take this little fact for granted. It’s hygienic to wash your hands after visiting the toilet. Washing your hands prevents you from common illnesses such as amoeba and cholera.

If you want to know how bad it is, just think about how many times you have had amoeba after visiting a restaurant. I once saw a chef getting his trouser unstuck from his butt crack as I passed by the kitchen. Let’s just say I did not even sit down to order. Amoeba is actually caused by faeces.

3. Brushing your teeth.

Brush your teeth every day. Do you need to be told this? A clean mouth is the beginning of a beautiful smile. Failure to do so can lead to dental caries, bacteria lodging in your throat, tartar, and other common problems.

4. Shower after a workout.

Sweat feels itchy and uncomfortable. Ensure to take a shower after a rigorous workout. There is always that temptation to slack on the couch because of fatigue but it is wrong.

5. Clean off your makeup at the end of the day.

Sleeping with makeup is the worst habit you can adopt. Make up can cause your skin to break and form black heads.

To give your skin a flawless look the next day, just remove all your make up.

6. Keep your hair neat.

Grooming is important because first impressions are everything. Take care of your hair by oiling or alternatively, get a hairstyle that is easy to maintain.

7. Trim your nails.

Trimming your nails prevents your nails from picking up dirt and fungus. Ensure that your nails are of manageable height and always wash them thoroughly with every hand wash. Remember amoeba.

How to pass JAMB 2018 – How To Score High In 2018 JAMB UTME

How to pass JAMB 2018

How to pass JAMB 2018 and How To Score High In 2018 JAMB UTME

The need for high JAMB score in your quest for University admission cannot be overemphasized. The question now is, how can I score very high in Jamb 2018?

How to pass JAMB 2018

The answers are;

Early Preparations.

Get the right textbooks.

Develop a study habit.

Use past questions.

Identify your weak point.

Understand the association connection.

Learn the exam strategies

Study read.

Be Up to date.

Learn basic concepts in computer.

Don’t wait for the exams to be close before you start preparations. Early preparation gives you an edge; don’t think that there is still time.

Live your life with sense of urgency. Have the mentality, ” I am behind schedule”. Begin to set targets because it will give you a powerful drive towards the exam.

Do you want to score 350+ in Jamb? It all begins from now. Remember, a man who fails to plan is indirectly planning to fail.
Joshua Abuwa said, “The problem with a lot of young persons today is that they don’t have visions, they only have television”. In your quest for university admission, what can you see?. Your worth in life is tied to the quality use of your mind.

Empty the coins in your purse into your mind and your mind will fill your purse with gold. Reading quality books for your examination will give you nothing, but quality grades.

For every examination, there is a course outline. This guides you on the topics and parts of the topics to cover. It is essential you get the books that cover the required topics and sub-topics.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) usually recommends texts. Get them and start studying as soon as possible.

Your habits determine your habitat. It is high time you develop a solid study habit. Need help? here is how to start. Before you study, make sure that you are relaxed physically, emotionally and mentally. The following study practices might be of good help to you.

Study in an environment that is best conducive for you. It doesn’t really need to be calm; if a noisy area is OK for you, go with it.
Read with revelation. Draw a plan of what you should achieve after the study.

All materials that guarantee smooth learning must be ready to avoid searching in the midst of learning.

Get a Jotter to put down salient facts.

Don’t skip any part of the material if you don’t understand it.

Prepare a study time-table and follow it consecutively.

Prepare a rest and recreation time-table too. Funny?

Read the 10 secrets of successful students and

How to remember 90% of what you have read

Past questions are the picture of the future. The future here speaks of the exam you are preparing for. Studying with past questions will act as positive catalyst for your exam. The importance of past questions is they help you to br /> Know the nature of questions to expect.

Identify the dark spots in your text books
Take note of the frequently asked questions.
Examine your level of preparation by putting yourself in the exam condition.

Boosts your confidence.

Note: Most past questions pack have answers at the back. Do not check the answers before you solve the problems. Just make sure that you understand the questions.

Like I always say, “telling yourself the truth is honesty but telling others is integrity.

Find out what works for you and what doesn’t. Find that the subjects and topics you find very easy to learn. In addition, don’t run away from the ones giving you tough time.

Do everything possible to give them tough time too. Just imagine losing 80 marks in mathematics just because you fail to fall in love with it. Handle your weakness or your weakness will handle you.

Who you associate with determines whether you will dissociate or appreciate. There are people who add to your life, those that subtract from you, those that divide and those that multiply you.
Identify those who add to and multiply your success. There is no where you want to go that people haven’t gone to. Look for people whose realities are your dreams.

There are things that don’t seem reasonable but are capable of making you responsible. Understand the following strategies

Any question you get wrong, there are people who will get it right.

Some answers follow a pattern. This pattern can help you get the questions you don’t know the correct answers to.
After every 30 minutes go back to the questions you think you have answered to be sure if you actually answered it correctly. Sometimes the brain deceives.

Increase your speed and don’t leave any option blank.

No matter the motivational books you have read on exam success, the efficacy of hard work cannot be over emphasized. Don’t study for exams the way you study newspapers. Put in effort in your study. Study, but study wise.

Be up to date on your exam date and procedures. Don’t fail to read articles relating to exam success as well. Visit SolutionClass.Com.Ng for news relating to your school.

Learn computer since most of your exams will be computer based. Make sure you click the answers and also confirm that you have actually ticked.

Nwangele is eventually turning out to be a place of unprecedented activities, but today, our focus is on the latest of these never before seen community social responsibility.

Last Sunday, 3rd November, 2017, a son of the soil of Amuzi in Dim-Na-Nume took the shine of the day as all of Nwangele joined him to his Massive Road Grading Initiative at the Umuokem, Agbaja road.

According to the initiator of the project, Hon Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, he took on the project to celebrate his patriarch and father, a political guru and excellent businessman Chief Chyna Iwuanyanwu.

Amara who is also a serious contender for the Imo State House of Assembly Seat, said that the grading of the Umuokem road is the first among the 2 kilometres of road he has mapped out to grade in each of the wards that make up Nwangele.

He testified to God’s goodness in his life and that of his father indicating that it was this grace that was the genesis of his present initiative rather than to score cheap political points.

The newly knighted Sir Amara, beckoned on all of Nwangele to support his initiative to see that the roads of Nwangele are expressly motorable for the yuletide.

Present at the occasion were Chief Apala, a political heavy weight in the USA, Barr Jude Uzoukwu, Chief Oberedu, Chief Zikland, Mr Morrison Onwukwe, APC Chieftains, APC ward Chairmen, community leaders and well wishers.

‘Why we excluded Xbusta, Acharaman, others from Otownloaded’s top 20 hottest Imo musicians list’ – Drift King

Xbusta, Acharaman, others from Otownloaded's
Xbusta, Acharaman, others from Otownloaded's

Contrary to what many might think or assume could be the reason why some popular Imo music stars were excluded from the ‘Now viral’ list of Top 20 hottest Imo state musicians as compiled by Otownloaded, Here’s why your favourite musicians made a miss on the list.

Xbusta, Acharaman, others from Otownloaded's
Xbusta, Acharaman, others from Otownloaded’s

Since the list dropped, a lot of controversies has been trailing it, with many putting calls, texts and emails to Otownloaded lambasting and criticizing the list, some even went ahead to drag bloggers who were supporters of the list, time to address such issues.

We skipped the likes of Acharaman, LMG, DTwins, 2Blac, DPaksy amongst others for reasons ranging from inconsistency and quality of songs.

Acharaman has never dropped a single in a longtime, but made a fair comeback this year, just close to the time of the rating, reason he made a miss on the list.

Same thing with Lmg who can never lose his place as one of the best rappers IMO state will ever produce but his absence from the music scene for a long time puts him off.

Guys like MCot, Ugames, 2Blac, Dtwinz and others who have been in the scene can be counted as legends, but there’s a whole new generation out there now and everyone has to catch up with the future and not hold unto history.

The industry has changed, the style of music has evolved!

Some of the names we excluded have not been in the scene for a while and you don’t expect to come back and knock everyone off.

We have a younger generation and new minds, people debuting new, unique and better style of music.

Tell us why we shouldn’t choose someone who gets the audience on their feets over someone who hasn’t moved the front-row at an event.

Imo bloggers President, Hardy said and I quote;

“They should work harder, be consistent and maybe do something spectacular to knock these young lads off. Change is allowed and if we can have young ones doing it better, then it is allowed”

Why Xbusta was excluded from the list.

We also got comments from the public asking why we excluded Xbusta from the list.

It would interest you to know that we made a list of the Hottest Musicians IN Imo not FROM Imo.

We are talking about Imo based musicians who have impressed us all year and not those based outside the state.

Xbusta is signed to a Lagos label, if we ever make a list of Top musicians from Imo state, we would not hesitate making him the number one.. as he does it like no other.

Now you know why your favourite acts made a miss! Consistency and quality of songs is key!

Leo Saint’s craft and artistry are what endears him to the crowd

Leo Saint

Vocalist and 3rd hottest singer in Imo state, Leo Saint, opened up about his life, type of music in a chat with Navicorp on Friday, 1 December 2017.

How do you manage to get so much love from the crowd whenever you’re performing?…

‘I don’t really know’.. Leo Saint says with a wide smile.

‘I do RnB and Afro Pop and everything in between except rap, he tells me again with the smile still on his face.’

Leo Saint

Leo is a fantastic musician. He combines his craft with his artistry and maintains a very good connection with his audience.

I’ve watched him perform a couple of times and each time his performance is electrifying. He is still an unknown artiste but the love he gets from the crowd is over the top. It makes you wonder how he does it.

Leo’s magic is in the type of music he does. His music cuts across RnB and electronic sounds, inspired by so many years of listening to Michael Jackson, Usher and Neyo.

He managed to find a niche in his music and he has developed it so well that he’s now a master in it. Many musicians fail to do this and that’s what separates an upcoming musician from a star artiste.

I listened to a lot of Michael Jackson, Usher and Neyo while growing up. In Nigeria, I listen to Wizkid, Mr Eazi and Adekunle Gold. These sounds put together make up my music, Leo Saint tells me. My music is evolving and I hope to conquer the global scene, not just Nigeria, he continues.

Leo Saint performing at Jollof Jokes 2.0

He’s telling the truth. His kind of music can only be inspired by those musicians he mentioned. They reflect on his single “In the Air” produced by EnzyPro.

Leo combines influences from the West and Afro Pop sounds resident in Nigeria to come up with sounds like that.

I have no major sponsors now but I get a lot of help from my producer, EnzyPro. He’s the one shooting the video for “In the air” which is dropping soon, Leo tells me.

Leo has close resemblances with Mr Eazi, Adekunle Gold, Mr May D and Dammy Krane. When I asked him which one of these musicians he’d like to record a song with if the opportunity comes, he easily mentioned Mr Eazi and later added Adekunle Gold as a second option.

Leo Saint’s artistry and demeanor are what draws him to the crowd whenever he’s performing and not his fame. He doesn’t have that yet.

Lota Chukwu Speaks on Beef Between Toyo Baby and Funke Akindele, Her Relationship With Funke Akindele And More

Lota Chukwu
Lota Chukwu

Rising Nollywood actress, Lota Chukwu, famously known as Kiki from Jenifa’s Diaries, in this interview with NET TV speaks on her relationship with Funke Akindele; the beef between Toyo Baby and Funke Akindele; and her rise to fame as well as her new cooking show.

Speaking on her relationship with Funke Akindele, she said

‘She is like a mum to everyone on set, she is hardworking and very hands on. In fact, she is like a big sister to everyone’.

She also touched on the simmering beef between Akindele and Juliana Oloyede who played her best friend, Toyo in the series, saying it was just a decision in movie production, in which characters come and go.

‘I don’t think it could be classified as a beef. I wonder why everybody is saying that.

Here is the thing, in a typical movie series, characters come and go, it was never a life-long contract. If the character is needed, the character will come back, I am not the producer of the show”

she said ;If you noticed, I had to leave after season five. In fact, at this point, I am very sure if Jenifa could leave, she would leave, but she is the lead character’.
